Fair Trade and organic African Black Soap is the super soap for your skin and your baby's. It is made with Women's co-operatives in Togo, West Africa and is the most natural soap you will find. Made with 48& pure, organically grown shea butter and wildcrafted virgin palm kernel oil.
This natural soap has a mild scent and a wonderful creamy lather and leaves skin fantastically smooth and softened. It is ideal for sensitive skin and the lye used int he saponification process is made from the ash of dried banana leaves and the bark from the local Agow tree (harvested sustainably).
African Black Soap is recommended for young and old skin or anyone with tender skin. Used as a facial soap is is great from clearing acne. It is also traditionally used to get rid of rashes, ring worm, measles, eczema and as a natural shampoo to avoid dry, itchy scalps. Suitable for all skin types
There are no preservatives, chemicals, colour enhancers or fragrances added to the recipe.
Black soap absorbs water easily, so keep your bar on a soap dish. This soap is softer than commercial soaps so it is easy to slice a piece of the main bar when using as a shampoo bar. As this is a pure product, you may get the occasional grain of grit in it , so rub it into your hands first!
